Introduction

The SCP Wiki is, in short, a wiki-page built to host a variety of anonymously written, user-generated, horror stories of particular “formal-report” style that all exist within a loosely unified canon. Stories that follow this formal report style typically obey a strict formula and are judged by the user-base of the site for quality. Stories of low quality are swiftly downvoted and removed to make room for newer report-style.
The SCP Foundation is a fictional organization that the SCP Wiki’s works all refer back to, and exist within the fictional context of. The SCP Wiki goes as far as disguising itself as a database belonging to the fictional SCP Foundation in order to pay homage to this fact.
